I'm Barbi — designer, mother, and the Founder behind Lively Distinct Designs.
Born and raised in Texas, I've spent my whole life in this industry. From Baby's 1st in Houston to big box retailers, high end stores and furniture makers, every role fed my love for design and the art of bringing beautiful spaces to life. Through every chapter — and through life's many changes — my passion only grew.
Then came the moment to build something entirely my own.
I founded Lively Distinct Designs to reach everyone — no matter where they are in the world. As the only all-virtual baby nursery design studio, we bring the luxury design experience directly to you, from the comfort of your own home. No boundaries. No limits. We make concious forward Designs that are economical and future use friendly when able… Just beautiful, intentional design for your little one(s).

I've walked this road myself — the joy, love you connect / carry with, the anticipation, and the tenderness that comes with being pregnant / twice for me. I have the treasure of my son, who’s now a young adult. And I've also known loss for someone o carried and loved so much. It’s with these experiences in life - I still use and feed the creative side of myself designing custom crib bedding and putting together Baby Wonderlands for our clients like yourself I’m happy to be a part of this journey with you / your growing family. That's why I don't just design — I listen to what you need and want. I lead with the experience and love I’ve held through out my career / design, growth, and execution. Lively Distinct Designs was born from a mother's heart — one that knows both the profound joy of holding your baby and the quiet ache of love that never had the chance to grow. I've had the privilege of carrying life, of dreaming big dreams for my son — who is 27 today and still my greatest inspiration. And I've also held someone far too briefly, a love that shaped me just as deeply. These experiences are woven into every design I create. Because I know that a nursery isn't just a room — it's where dreams begin, where love lives, and where every detail matters. That's why I pour my design visions / whole heart into your creations.
